A gorgeous stranger in an old photograph. A desperate search from another century. And a mystery that Camille Gordon cannot resist.
It has been two years since she discovered that she was going to be a teenage mother. Abandoned by her child’s father, Camille is determined that she and her daughter will make it on their own.
When she discovers an old picture in a trunk from her grandmother’s attic, Camille is at once drawn to the man in the image, standing near his horse in the light of a long-ago sunset. The haunting photo leads her to the Carters, who run the nearby White Oaks Lodge. Each clue brings her closer to her own destiny: a true love so intense that not even time can wither it.

About the Author
I am writer Abbie Williams, and I have been addicted to love stories ever since first sneaking my mother's copy of The Flame and the Flower; since then, I've been jotting down stories of my own in notebook after spiral-bound notebook. Well, that is until I got a computer that was equipped with Word, one fine day.
I spend my days with my own true love, our three daughters, and a very busy schedule. I am most happy when I can sneak in a few hours to write and thereby indulge in visiting the characters in my stories.
When I'm not writing, teaching or spending time with my family, you can find me listening to my favorite musical groups of all time: Alison Krauss and Union Station, the Wailin' Jennys, and The Be Good Tanyas. If there's time in the evening, I might watch a few episodes of Hell on Wheels and eat a jar of crunchy peanut butter.
With a growing compulsion to kill, one mourning father fights the urge to seek revenge on his daughter’s killer by asking Kody Burkoff, a small-town ghostwriter, to help him create a memoir filled with wonderful memories from the years he spent with his daughter before her untimely death the summer after she graduated from high school. Kody, who feels impelled to help every lost soul who enters her life, agrees to help this sad dad knowing that she’ll either come out of the ordeal a celebrated hero or an accomplice to a murder. Can Kody save the lives of the boy deemed a murderer and the father facing a lifetime of regret?

Do we really see everything that is visible, hear all that is spoken,
or understand the intended message? Do we even know who
is communicating? How often does rigid, formal learning limit
our ability to perceive the mystery of our destiny?

Three Dreams of Anne Frank is a fantasy, an allegorical story involving three fictional dreams Anne has on the night of May 11, 1944 which express the anguish and bravery she must endure from nightly air raids, break-ins to the building where she is hidden, and possible capture. It combines reality and fairy tale elements in Kafkaesque fashion to explore both Anne's frame of mind and the torment that can become the human condition.
